advertising business tipsIt’s amazing what a well written and well presented can continue your job search to do. Prior to his post, follow this checklist to ensure that the sending of an excellent quality representation of yourself.

1. Grammar, spelling, punctuation – Use the grammar and spelling, then print it and read the Word document to Word. Spell check does not know you meant “manager” if you actually typed “manger.”

2. Capitalization – Use a manual of how Gregg Reference Manual if you do not know the rules of capitalization.

3. Score – for proper use of commas and semicolons Check. Even if you are unsure, refer to the Gregg Reference Manual.

4. Run-on sentences – Make sure you do not run make-on that is difficult to read.

5. Consistency – you have with your use of numbers (dates, money, and numbers), plurals and abbreviations. For example, not a date as a list of 8 / 2004 and then another date as a list 15.03.2004. Also, keep in mind the software listing (use abbreviations). MS Word and Microsoft Outlook is correct, but not consistently.

6. Education Section – If you have a degree, list only the year that you receive your study. If your appointments, lists: do not recognize (e.g., 9 / 1998 to 1 / 2002) Many verification systems curriculum you come to a point, only that you attended college for a specified period.

7. Ampersand – Ampersand (&) does not belong on a resume. There are some exceptions. An exception is a well known company (AT & T). Another exception is known industry terms (P & L).

8. Hyperlinks – all email and web addresses you need to be a disabled list on your resume. To do this in MS Word, select the link, click “Insert” drop-down menu, select and click “Hyperlink”, and in the lower left had side of the screen there should be a small button that says “Remove Link “if you find it, give it a little and voila! Alternately, you can select the link, click the right mouse button on it and choose “Remove Link” to disable the link.
