Think I made you wait long enough? haha 

Okay well starters...

 Getting to Norfolk..

  It was an amazingly good ride, we only got lost once and that was actually in Norfolk. When we got to Norfolk we decided to go by the Venue and the girls bus was already there and I saw Kat walking in which I was super excited by then and then we went down a little ways here comes the boys bus. I saw Chris and Elliott looking out the window.

 After that, since we had to go to the hotel and check in we couldn't stop plus there was nowhere to park at that time and we had to find the hotel. Well, we circled around hampton blvd. 3 times to get to the Courtyard Marrott and let me tell you I seriously was tired of seeing that hospital Sentara Heart Hospital! Haha, and then we called and it took 2 calls to actually get the right directions, then we finally found it and got there!

  Getting to the The Constant Convocation Center (In a Taxi)..

  Well, we decided to get a taxi there and back because it was much cheaper. We got in the taxi and all and we are like half way there and uhm this guy pulls out RIGHT infront of us the taxi had to swirve to the right to miss that car because if not we would have gotten hit and of course I was on the site it would have hit! What I do to go see Kat, eh? 

  Then, we finally got to the Venue and I went to get my tickets and all and we walked around some, saw Chris Daughtry's brother and I kind of just went up to him and was like hi I know you! And he said hi I don't know you and then it turned into a little conversation and I told him Chris is a great artist for Rock and everything, then we went up to the doors and  waited about an hour and a half to go in. The doors didn't open until 6:00pm.

In The Venue (From starting to go in to waiting an hour for it to start)..

  So, we got in the venue, blah blah blah. And they told me I could not give my gifts to Kat myself they have to do it for security reasons and I was like grr, but said ok. Then, I got a Idol Tour Book, a Lisa Picture, and yes a Taylor Picture (that to get signed for my mom's friend). Anywho! we are in there, my aunt who decided to get 3 beers (help me lord) and my friend was walking around some and I kind of just sat at my seat the whole time. Which by the way very good seats! So, I am sitting there and they finally come back right...

  Next thing I know my dad and everyone is like tugging at my arm and saying there's Elliott's mom and brother! And sure enough it was! I was so excited she is so adorable and tiny I just wanted to squeeze her! So, I decided why not ask her for her autograph so I went down to her which she was right infront of us, sat right infront of my dad and I asked her for it and she was so sweet and I had to give her a hug and Elliott's brother a hug and started talking to him for a little bit then Elliott called him and asked him how could he find them when he comes out and I had orange glowsticks so his brother told him to look for the orange glowsticks on his right when he first comes out.

First Part of the Show..

 Well, of course we all know the first part is... Mandisa, Ace, Lisa, Paris, Bucky, and Kellie. They all did amazingly wonderful. I loved them all and Paris still has the moves, she's too cool for her own good! Haha and this time I wasn't as shocked when Kellie came out because I knew she was. Which I do have pictures of them performing that I will have up soon!

 Bad part of it... My aunt has had 5 drinks ok.. Well, she ended up dropping it during Par is's performance and it got on my camera.. It was acting up really bad, so I only got pictures of Bucky with Kellie because it was messing up so much. Which I will go ahead and mention is why I couldn't videotaping. It was messing up, I was going to videotape some, but it wouldn't work right at all the rest of the night to do so.

Intermission..

  Well, I was too busy sitting down trying to fix my digital camera to get up, I had to make sure it worked when Katharine came out and backstage.. Everyone else sort of just left. Finally! It started working right!

  After that thing, I look up and Elliott's mom is sitting there and Elliott's brother waves to me to come sit closer real quick and so I did and we started a whole nother conversation up and I talked to his mother a little bit as well! By then people were really starting to realize who she was and started coming down to see her so I moved back to my seat so she could take pictures and sign autographs for everyone. At one point people were coming up to her for things to get signed and didn't have a pen or anything so I took out my sharpie and let her use it and I thought it was just a one thing deal, but oh no.. Haha, everytime someone didn't have a pen she would look back at me and hold her hand out and she was so adorable, I just can't get over it! haha! Then people had me taking pictures for them. She was like.. I hope you don't mind doing this and I told her not at all.

 Finally, it died down and people were leaving and I got on the phone with Laurie, who I talked to before the show as well. After I got off the phone with her because I could hardly hear a few more people came up and they started playing the behind the scenes videos again. Well, those people left and she motioned for me to come back over there and by that time Elliott's brother went to get a drink so I sat there talking to her for about 10 more minutes then it was show time again.

Second half..

  As you all know the second half is Chris, Elliott, the 4 guys, Kat, Taylor, then top 8 group, and then all 10 group song. Elliott was coming out his brother told me to hold up the orange glowsticks and wave them so we did and Elliott finally spotted all of us and blew a kiss to his mother and said I love you! So sweet!

 Of course, as always great performances by all. Especially with Kat! I adore her voice! She really let loose with it all especially with Somewhere Over The Rainbow! She had everyone screaming loud, singing with her, and had a very good applause at the end of Somewhere Over The Rainbow! It was unbelievable amazing! And her dancing during Think was awesome haha, she's too cool for her own good!

 Then the Living In America performace was great! I always love that performance and Kellie and Kat were dancing together at the end, it was so cute and funny what they were doing, I really wish I was able to videotape it!

Getting to Backstage and Backstage..

  So the show is over. I say bye to Elliott's brother and mother and walk down to the very front and sit down. We are there for about 10 minutes and they took us back. We were in the hallway at first waiting to get in. I'm on the side so I can see in the room and I see these ladies talking to someon

  Well... I walk in and I turn to look and no... It's not someone they know, it's Kat! I was not expecting her to be right there. She was sitting on the table beside Paris and Lisa was beside Paris on the other side. She was right at the entrance and Kat looks over to me, but still talking to others, well after she talked to them I just walked right up to her and she said hey!! And I said hey and a few other things and then she took my book to sign it so I handed it to her and she said, "your Jennifer right?" And looked straight at me and I was like uhmm yes! Haha, totally caught me off guard with that one. Then we took a picture together and she hugged me and then started talking a little bit, seeing how each other was doing, told her that her Kat Pack loves her more then anything and she loves us and just made a very short conversation and I told her she was amazing on stage.

 By then people were crowding up towards her so I kind of just back away a little so they could see her and by this time I was shaking haha, then I walked in line to talk to Paris and by then it's noticable that I'm shaking and Kat looked over at me and she was like are you okay? And I was like yes trying to stay stiff so they couldn't see me shaking and she smiled and my friend says she is a big fan of yours Kat! And she was kind of in awe after that being said by everyone haha,after that I walked over to Paris and started talking to her and got her autograph and a picture with her, which by the way of course I got a picture with Kat! Then, went right over to Lisa..

  First thing I bring out is the Lisa Picture I bought there and got her to sign it for Vadia's little girl. And of course I asked her if it was okay if she could sign two things and she said "Sure sweetie I don't mind at all" So She signs her's and then I try so hard to find Lisa's page in my book and I can't for the life of me because i was shaking haha. Then Lisa asked me and I'm signing this too..? And me doing the most retarded thing ever i said.. "Me" and she then asked for my name haha, talk about embarassing! And I just was like I'm so sorry and Lisa being the sweet girl she is was like, "Oh there is no reason to be sorry you are perfectly fine sweetie". And then I took a picture with her!

 After i got done with that Kat was free again and we were kind of eyeing each other during the whole time, I was trying to find the perfect time to go back up to her and conversate with her. Well, I wanted to get that autograph for Joanna, who done that lovely sketch for Kat of Kat.. So I walked back up to Kat and immediatly took out the picture and asked Kat if she could sign the picture for Joanna. The second she looked at it she nudged Paris and Lisa looked too and Kat said, "Wow, this is a very old picture of me!" Then she puts it down to sign it and she stops for a second after putting Jo and said Jo...Anna right? Starts with an A? And I said yes. So she signed that for her and I said thank you so much and she said you're welcome and then I told her that there is a sketch and my gifts I got her but they wouldn't let me bring it back here and she said she would make sure she looks for them on the bus when she gets on then, I was about to start trying to make a conversation with her and some other people started to come up so once again I move out of the way!

  I move to the side and had my back to the entrance and all I hear is... "Hi ladies!" I turn around and it's Ace! And not even thinking I say hey it's Ace! And covered it up before he said anything and said How are you really quick haha. Then he started talking and Kat was free again and I was wanting to make my way towards her, but I didn't want to be rude to Ace and leave during his conversation with us.

  So, we're listening to him talk and I'm like wanting him to hurry up a little, but I don't show it or anything to be kind. Haha I really wanted to talk to Kat more then I did, but all of a sudden Kat gets up and walks over towards me with a lady and says "I have to go now sweetie, it was great meeting you" and told my friend and aunt it was nice meeting you guys. Then she left, I was sad, but more happy then anything that I actually got to talk to her a little bit and meet her!

  Now, I'm standing here and watch Paris and Lisa leave and Ace is goofing around talking to everyone.

 Then I see baldy! Haha, and yes I do mean Chris and girls automatically were crowded around him, but I got to the side and got ahold of him and talked to him for a little bit, which in person he is really sweet and then he went to go take a picture with me and squeezed me tight, but not as tight as Ace did!

 Forgot to mention, when I was taking a picture of Ace and my aunt together I started shaking when I held the camera up, and Ace completely started picking on me and started shaking and acting like me! He was like wow you are shaking a lot and said It's ok. Which he figured out real quick that I am a huge Kat fan hince my shirt, which by the way she did look at and smiled and said awe and was amused with the back of it especially haha.

After..

  We are walking out calling us a taxi which took us about an hour and a half before actually getting one and at one point I was getting irritated out of my mind because my dad would not for the life of me stay with us so we could get in the cab and my aunt who was drunk and kept going on and on about wanting food.

  So I walked back in to go to the bathroom since we had already probably missed our first taxi and I come out of the bathroom and I hear someone yell my name and of course it would happen to be Elliott's brother right behind me! So there i was having a conversation with him and his mother again. Haha, I really kept in touch with them throughout that concert! Then, we had to leave and I hugged Mrs. Yamin and said bye and Elliott's brother walked with me to the entrance which he had to go that way as well so he finally had to leave and I hugged him bye and that was that! Then I go back over and the buses are finally leaving and I see Kat near the front and I waved to her as they were going by and she waved back and I saw Kellie as well who was in the front seat talking to the driver and she waved.

  Other then that, you don't want to know, I just got irritated with no one but we finally got a taxi and this time wasn't about to get in a car accident. Just had someone later that night around 3:00am trying to break into our hotel room. Didn't knock or anything just kept shaking the handle fast and hard, very creepy! But I made it back alive!

   P.S. I will have the pictures of the autographs taken and a picture of my sketch Joanna did for me which is hung on my wall above my bed! And also the other pictures! (I am once again so sorry for not getting any videos!)

          Also, there is more conversation to it with Kat, I just can't concentrate, I'm so tired and I will try to finish the rest up tomorrow or something! That's why I said we talked about a few other things and what not.

My friend and I originally only planned to go to one American Idol concert this year, which was the Richmond, VA stop earlier in July. We loved it, since we got to see our idol Katharine sing live for the first time. But, then basically two tickets to the Norfolk show fell in our laps!    See my mom originally couldn’t get any tickets for the Richmond show (since they were all sold out within the first 5 minutes of being put up on ticketmaster), so she and my step dad went on ticketmaster later, after they added more tour dates, and got tickets for the Norfolk show. Unfortunately, they both got tickets and clicked “buy,” which meant they had a total of 4 when they only needed 2! And to make a long story short, my mom found out she had plans for the weekend of the Norfolk show, so she couldn’t go. She then put all four tickets on ebay and only 1 set of them sold. She ended up putting the last 2 tickets on ebay countless times, and they never sold. So, she said instead of having the tickets go to waste, I could go with one of my friends! Then we got really excited because this tour top would be slightly different, since Katharine added another song, Think!

My friend and I had seats in section 111, which was right by the side of the stage, and we were in row W, which was a little high up, but considering the small size of the arena…any seat was fine! But, right when the boys finished Patience, my friend and I ran down the steps and stood right by the gate (which is basically next to the row A seats), which ended up being around 5 feet from the side of the stage…we were close! So, I got some decent videos on my digital camera!  

After the boys group number everything turned dark and I was like omg kat’s next (since I already went to another concert, I new she was next)!! Then I hear the 2, 3, 4 and I screamed my head off! She sounds so good live and is so beautiful in person!! WOW!! Then she continued on down the stage until the song came to an end and then right before she started Think, she said this is for all the ladies!! After think, she said a speech, which now I can’t even remember what she said…(which may be due to the fact that there was some lady next to us trying to get the security guards attention and asking him something…you can hear her on the video!!) But then she started Somewhere Over the Rainbow, like she always does acapella, I got chills all the way down my body! It was so subdued, but at the same time so powerful! At this concert stop she did the extra octave ending again, her rendition this time was so different from the one I heard in Richmond. She added all these extra runs and just changed it up! I though it was by far one of the best renditions I ever heard! She then said thank you so much and something along the lines of god bless!!! Then she was gone!

The final encore:
First let me say Kat was wearing shoes during Living in America (only the encore, she was barefoot during her set)…they were really high black heels!!! It looked like she would fall at any point in those things! First, her and Taylor appeared from the top…Taylor doing his normal solo, then Kat does hers…but instead of walking down the ramp by themselves they are walking arm in arm…it was so cute! But let me tell you, our girl can dance! But of course we all knew that by now!! When all the girls go to the top of the stage and do there little dance moves, Kat was getting it to it, that is by far my favorite part of the final encore! As she’s walking down the ramp and goes by Ace, she then drapes her arm across his shoulders!! And then near the end of the encore…I think something happened with Chris’ micr ophone pack or that thing that goes in their ears…idk, you guys will have to watch the movie and see what you think! They were laughing it off and hugging each other after it! It’s really funny to watch!!  :haha:
I loved hearing her in concert and I can wait to hear her again, next year on her own tour!!!!!!
