OKay so as some of you might know I am one of the Idol Junkies and I've been to 10 shows. Of course the first 7 were without Katharine, so that left me with 3.Maine Sept 21 was the first. My mom let me leave school 2 periods early so I could wait by the busses. I got to see her walk in but she didnt turn around or anything. Then we totally luck out and get meet and greet passes. So I'm freaking out becuse Katharine is going to be there. Only four of us got to go in though, 4 had to wait outside. Turns out, Kat was sick and not at the meet and greet. So I start to bawl my eyes out because my friends who didnt get to go in could have instead of me. The was Rhode Island. Sept 22.We went and she performed. I recorded it. and we had after party passes, but she didnt go to the after party.
Then was Bridgeport CT my final concert. Yesterday. She sang. My sister recorded it all.And she WENT TO THE AFTER PARTY AND I MET HER!!! It was amazing. The after party was wicked crowded, like to the point where you couldnt breathe. But I got to meet Katharine thanks to all my amazing friends who heeved me to the front. She was so nice. She already knew who I was and who the junkies were and I got a little video of me talking to her:and then she took pictures with all of us. She was so sweet. I dont think anything can top last night. It was so worth the wait. I would go to ten more concerts if it meant meeting her again. This was truly the best ending to the best Idolicious summer ever.

Ok so, i went to the 9/23 show... some of you may know that the night before i won M&G passes on the radio, which was sooo amazing!!!!
Oh i should warn you that this will be really long and detailed, because it deserves it!!!
So we got to the arena @ 3, and we went to the busses,No one could sign because there was this midevil times type fence that was locked and suposedly no one had the key
Then we get the M&G passes, and are waiting inside, we buy a program and all that stuff! So then we get to the table and i am the very 1st one in line and the guards were like no pictures!!!! - WHAT?!?!? and then i got really confused but then paris and kellie and mandisa was like oh no dont listen to him, snap away!!! so i put my program for ace and chris to sign, chris was soo cute!!! he was like oh wow you look so excited and i was like well duhhh!!! hehe i didnt really get to talk to any of them... um ok yeah, so when i went to get my camera, i put my kat poster on the table (just to put it down) and then everyone started to sign it, so i was like oh ok!!! hehe i only really talked to mandisa for a little, telling her that i loved her and i couldnt wait for her to perform! then i said hi to elliot..........
...... then Katharine!!!!!!!!!!! ok so i know that she was sick on thursday and wasnt at the M&G, and when i walked in i couldnt see her but once i looked up from my picture of elliot..... there she was!!!!!!!! She looked gorgeous as always!! in a big red hoodie and hair up so by the time i walk up to her she has my sign... ( that i made b4 i won the M&G) hehe and she looks at my shirt - it has the new/old kat in pink shirt w/glasses pic on it!!! and goes: Kat: aww i like your shirt!! Me: aww thanks i like your glasses... then she giggled!!! I really do love you soooo much and your gorgeous!!! Kat: aww come... (she was contemplating on giving me a hug) well im sick! ( then i go to give her a big hug, and shes says: I guess you dont care huh? haha Me: absolutely not!!!!! Kat: do you wanna take a picture? - yes!! ( so im getting ready to take the pic of us and she goes do you want someone else to take it? -yes that would probably be a better idea!! so then the guy takes the picture (although he couldnt take a pic if his life depended on it!!!! he got 1/2 my face )and kat hugs me again!!! and tells me that im so sweet and that enjoy the show.... ok so by now, um i just met KAT!!!! so me being me, i start crying and walk away and kat notices and shouts out ohh, dont cry!!!! and then im like, crap i didnt get a picture of taylor!!! i just skipped him...lol hehe so i go back with tears in my eyes and kat is like aww stop crying sweetie, come here!!! so she gave me ANOTHER HUG!!! oh man i love her!!!!!!!!!!! im just gonna post the kat-related pics on here, bu

So ^ was extremely awesome, but i was bummed that i only got to talk to her for like a minute
alright so next was the show, i saw 3 kat phans in 2nd row and i hopped over like 3 seats, almost falling.. lol so we chatted for a bit about the meet and greet!!! on with the show... everyone was good!!! Lisa was so touched she was tearing up.. Kat was amazing, i dont really remember BHACT b/c my camera died and i had a rage blackout!!! ugh that sucked, we brand 2 digital cameras and 3 disposable ones, those were used up and i now hate my new camera!!!!! oh well... onto THINK!!! ok so yeah, awesome!!! hehe kat came down and danced right infront of Diane, Michelle and another person which i didnt catch her name... oh my goodness these girls were so lucky!!!! ahh darn them...
LIA was awesome- kat danced great!!! again- no camera and no video so i hope some one got really good ones of that!!!
Alright now to the GOOD part!! so my mom and i figured that we should just try to get into the after party... so we showed a little bit of our M&G passes and that got us through 2 rounds of security... once we got to the last time nope, the guy lifted up my shirt and said you have to step down... So about 30 seconds later we see these 3 girls waiting and i hear one of them say, we have to leave, we cant wait any longer... so of course i run up to them and am like well why cant you get in? and they said that 1 of the 3 didnt have a pass so they wouldnt let them in, and they had to leave like asap!! and i was like well if it doesnt work out, can we have your passes? and she looks at me and goes yeah, b/c you love kat!!!! OH MY GOODNESS WE GOT THOSE PASSES!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah... i guess this is my lucky weekend!!!! so we get in and i go straight to kat, she has a few ppl already there.. once it was my turn she goes "hey beautiful" long time no see" Me: i know, i love you!!! can you sign this ( i got 5 kat auto's in all ) and of course she said yes and hugged me again... she went to sign my
I got there around 4:00 and we went to eat and we got back to the arena at a quarter to 5 where we, my sister and two friends and I waited by the busses and we signed Elliot’s banner. We saw Bucky and Chris a lot, talking on their phones and moving from bus to bus to building. Well there was really no sign of Kat or other idols for a while so we were just standing around with a group of about 20 people more or less, when I see a poster that I recognize. I walk up to the girl with the orange posters and a Kat shirt on with Kat in Glasses on the front and ask “so are you McAddict07,” and she’s like yea and you are? and I tell her my name and we talk a bit and she says that the meet and greet finished about 20 minutes or so ago but that you had not even a minute with each idol, but she did have some pictures of Kat wearing a big red hoodie. We waited around a while more and we start hearing roars and yells so we look and Kat is walking with her head to the crowd, but we recognize her because of McAddict’s picture, and I think she was walking with Nick, but I’m not 100% on this theory. We saw Fred a couple times but of course when I knew his name my friends were looking at me like a freak, and I just told them that I have my ways of getting my info. Kellie and Taylor each walked by once and each time the crowd went wild, and around six o’clock a guy wearing a hat and glasses and a big plain sweater, making him unrecognizable hopped on a scooter and gave it a little drive around and brought it back. We think it was either Taylor or Elliot. We waited until a quarter to seven to go in because they only opened the doors at about 6:30 which in my opinion was not a good choice, they should have opened earlier.
Concert and in the Arena
In the arena we bought some things. My two friends and I each got a Katharine shirt which I put over my polo and then pulled out my orange collar, I was pimping. I also got a tour book, the prices for the souvenirs were reasonable. We got to our seats and we were next to some nice people and then some girls about our age and a mom behind us, they were alright but they told my friend to put down the poster which I then grabbed and held up.
Mandisa- WOW! She was a really good person to choose to open. She got me pumped.
Ace- AHHHH! This was all I heard when he showed up to sing the duet with Mandisa. He was very good also and looked amazing, but the chest thing scared me I thought he was having some kind of heart attack and was going to die on st
age. LOL
Lisa- She was good and she really impressed me with her piano skills. I think she will do alright for herself, she is very talented. She brought out Paris and they did their duet which the lady next to me knew all the moves to. LOL. The duet wasn’t bad, but nothing spectacular.
Paris- She was really lively during all her performances and she was very talented, but her moves were kind of, well not up to par during the Beyonce song.
Bucky- He looked very confident up on stage and I liked it. He did very well in my opinion.
Kellie- She and Bucky did well in their duet. Her songs were good choices I think anyway, but she looks a lot better in pictures, I mean she wasn’t ugly but She didn’t look as perky. I guess this has do with all the stress and whatnot of the tour, and she did also look kind of under the weather.
INTERMISSION
Chris- He was definitely the crowd favorite I’m afraid to say, but the crowd went wild during his sings, which we all enjoyed. He is such a good performer and he will definitely be a star. He puts a lot of feeling into the songs and a lot of emotion, which is what I think the crowd liked.
New Roman" nd="16">Elliot- I loved the duet between him and Chris. He has such a good voice that has a raw but soft sound to it. I enjoyed his songs and his “Funky White Boy” shirt was nice too.
Patience- I think the song was good, but I was too busy spazzing out at the fact that Kat was next. During the song we moved into the middle isle and got set up to take pictures.
Katharine- OMG!! I could not believe that the person I have been obsessing over for the last almost a 4-5 months was standing 20 feet away from me. I almost fainted, but I recovered and took some good pictures. She was amazing the best even though she was sick, well at least I think. After she finished her two upbeat tempo songs this lady that worked at the arena was asking us to sit down so we walked to our row and I asked, “ Can I get just one good picture,” and she said it was fine, but to make it very quick, so I run up and I get 2 pictures and I look back and she is gone so I yell to my friends to come back up, so we stayed there. When she stopped to do her speech I yelled out “I love you Katharine!” Along with everyone else in the arena that were Kat fans and she smiled. She was saying how she was sorry she had to sing for us being sick and I yelled out “We still love you Katharine,” and she said something like thanks or I love you all too. OK Somewhere Over the Rainbow is coming and she sings a bit and waves at a couple of people and while she is singing my friend and I are moving are hands in the air, we are the only people even moving because everyone else is in awe, and we are yelling, “Katharine!, Katharine!,” and waving and she looked at us and waved. I almost died.
Taylor- He made a great entrance and was really very good. I was dancing aroud with him doing his little feet shimmy or whatever you want to call it and I was just having a lot of fun.
We are the Champions- This song was very good, and I loved Elliot’s cape.
Living in America- My camera was dying so I only got about 2 or so good pictures. But my ears were working and the song was very good and Kat sang her part very well. During the part where Taylor us
ually says all the city names he asks Kellie to do it and I reall couldn’t understand her, but I think she said a couple of places and then asked, “ Wait, where are we again?” and Taylor just kind of said, “WooHoo! Bridgeport,” and tried to ignore it.
Final Bows- Excellent Show!! I LOVED my first concert ever.

I'm finally getting around to a review from the Idols show in Bridgeport, CT on 9/23. Yay!!
So originally I wasn't supposed to go to this show. I went to one of the Long Island shows in July and I was supposed to go to the other one but I figured it wasn't worth it when Kat got sick. I was totally bummed about not seeing her on tour but that all changed at the end of July! I was fortunate enough to see and meet her at the Dr. Keith Ablow Show (7/26) and the View (7/27). It was an amazing two days and I was lucky enough to get to exeperience all the Kat excitement with my good friend Jamie (musicali).
Jamie and I were on a high after our encounters with Kat. We were convinced we had to see her again. We picked out the Bridgeport show since Connecticut is semi-close to New York. We planned our little trip the entire rest of the summer but actually didn't buy our front row tickets till last minute through a ticket broker website. They were pricey (happy birthday to me??!) but soooo worth it. Especially since earlier in the summer we had written Katharine letters and promised her that we'd be in the front row no matter what! We stuck to our promise.
My parents drove me to Jamie's house on Saturday morning. Her house was a little bit crazy because of the excitement of finally being able to see Kat in concert. We someone managed to get on the road by (or before??) noon. It took us about an hour to get to the arena and when we pulled up we already saw a group of people waiting outside of the area where the busses pull up. There were no busses yet so we were so relieved that we didn't miss the Idols! Jamie and I were nervous that we were going to. We looked around and were surrounded by red, green, and all the other tour colors - we felt like the only Kat fans there at that point!! Finally we spotted someone in orange and introduced ourselves to her. It turns out she actually goes to KMF. It was so nice meeting you Melissa! Later on Michelle, Diane, and their sister also showed up and we talked to them for a while. The busses pulled up but Kat went straight into the arena. She had her red hoodie pulled up and we figured she was probably still not feeling her best. Ace came out a little while later and Jamie and I got our pictures with him. Jamie also recorded a little video of Ace saying "Hi Liz." to her friend Liz (obviously) who pretty much adores Ace. Bucky and a couple of other Idols came out but nothing too exciting happened..no Kat.
It was time for the meet and greet and people with passes lined up infront of the arena where the passes were being given out. Jamie, Michelle, Diane, and I tried getting onto "the list" but had no luck. Melissa had passes and was kind enough to pass something along to Kat from me. Thanks again, Melissa!! I really appreciate it and I'm glad Kat got it!
After that..Jamie, her mom, and I walked around Bridgeport for a while. Apparently Bridgeport is a bad area?? I couldn't tell..whatever.
Around 6:30 we headed back to the venue. We got inside and found our seats. They were front row but not center. We just missed the section where the Idols run by to slap hands with the audience and what not.
I definitely don't need to write a review of each Idol because honestly..I didn't really pay much attention to them. Ace's set was good. I melted........for obvious reasons. I liked Lisa and Paris' sets a lot better the 2nd time around too. Kellie didn't seem as perky as usual but I also enjoyed her set. Jamie and I kept looking for a black hoodie but we doubted that Kat would actually come out. That didn't stop us from making up scenerios tho
ugh! HAH! We wanted to tap her on the head and be like "We see you McPhee." But obviously that didn't happen.
During intermission we met up with Jamie's friend from school (she is from school, right Jamie??) and I got the group tour poster because I had everything Kat..but that. Oh, and an Ace picture! What? He's cute.
Ummm, so thennn..it was the 2nd half of the show. Elliott was always one of my favorite boys (never voted for him though.....wonder why? Heh) but I didn't really get to enjoy his set that much because by that time Jamie and I were just like "KAT'S ALMOST ON!!" and had major spaz attacks pretty much throughout his entire set. We forgot that the boys sung "Patience" but when they came out we were so glad not to see that oh so depressing Kat montage playing in the background. For the first time all night it sunk into me - we were going to be seeing Kat in concert for the FIRST TIME EVER!! Well, for us anyway. We were excited. We also kind of found the song "Patience" ironic because we were far from patient while waiting for Kat.
The lights lowered and I saw Kat appear. It was still pretty quiet when I noticed her and I shouted "LOVE YOU KAT!" (or something like that??) pretty dang loud. I saw her shadow look over in my direction. Finally we heard those famous words "2, 3, 4!!" and everyone went crazy. Um, Kat looked adorable. Jamie and I flipped out majorly. While she was walking down the staircase I waved at her and she waved back. We waved our sign for her and she smiled and pointed at it. All throughout BHATCT she made eye contact with us and kept giving us her oh so famous "AWWW" face. She came over to us when it was time for the audience to sing back to her and she looked way too amused when we were singing "NO NO!"
She then started "Think". She again, kept making eye contact with us! Now, my friends, this is my favorite part! When she was about to run down the steps to slap fans hands in the front row, she looked over at Jamie and I and said into her mic "I recognize you." In the middle of the song!!!! It was in the cutest, sing-songy voice EVER!!!! Jamie and I had a feeling it might have been premeditated, like she was waiting for the perfect moment to say it to us. She had the biggest grin on her face and then went in the opposit direction. Jamie and I had a meltdown. We were like "Did she actually say that to us?!!" All the people around us looked really excited. She came back over and Jamie and I were still freaking out. We probably had the dumbest smiles on our faces. Kat looked over at us and grinned even wider - apparently she got the reaction that she wanted from us.
At first Jamie and I had our doubts that it happened but a couple of people approached us and were like "Kat recognized you!" So we knew it wasn't a dream. Jamie's school friend also text messaged her and was like "Did Kat just recognize you?" Unfortunately the video that Michelle posted didn't pick up what Kat said to us because of all the screaming. I'm still holding onto hope that a vide
o will eventually surface.
Anyway, then she sung OTR and dedicated it to a girl, Katie, from Make-A-Wish (we met her later on that night and her and her mother are such sweethearts!!) I thought it was a really nice thing of Kat to do especially since later on Katie's mom told us that OTR was Katie's favorite song.
Kat once again made eye contact with us and made those oh so famous "AWWW" faces to us. At a couple of points throughout the night she did her famous head nods to us too. I dunno if you all know what I'm talking about, but when Kat sings and is really getting into a song and wants to get out a note, sometimes she locks eyes with someone in the audience and does this cute little head nod thing. She did it a lot on Idol and that night she did it to us! Jamie actually got one of "the nods" on tape. We didn't film much though because we were far too excited.
It was finally Taylor's set. Jamie went to far more Idol concerts than I did - this year - but the same goes for the both of us, we both pouted during Taylor's set in July. We were so bummed about not seeing Kat and when Taylor came out, we both just lost it. This time around we actually sort-of danced to his music! We were still sooo on cloud 9 from Kat just noticing us.
Onto the group number! There weren't many "Kathellie" moments (sadly) but whatever. Jamie and I adore Kat and Kellie. Their friendship is so cute and we were soo hoping to have some cute footage from our concert. That's alright though because once again whenever Kat came to our side of the stage she paid most (if not all?) of her attention to us. It was good. I love when she locks eyes. It kills.
My favorite part of the group number though was when she was just about to get off stage. She came over to us, leaned over a little (so Jamie tells me, I can't remember the leaning..of course I can't remember much of anything! Kat does that to me), and she pointed to Jamie and was like "YOU!! You're here too?!! How are you?" Jamie was in shock, couldn't get words out, and just nodded and smiled. I tapped Jamie's shoulder lightly and nodded to Kat..mouthing to her that Jamie was good.
Ummm, so I pretty much love Kat. This might be one of my favorite moments with Kat ever. I think it definitely beats out even meeting her! Why? Because of the fact that she knows who Jamie and I are now. That makes us extremely happy and it shows she really cares about her fans..not that I ever had my doubts.
I'm assuming she read my letter before the show. I hope to get a reply sometime soon! That would pretty much be the icing on the cake.
Uhhh, what else? We waited for the busses after the show but security told us we had to leave. Rude? It didn't make a difference to Jamie and I though. We were so giddy and happy!! We're still pretty much so giddy and happy actually.
Oh, and Eric (Miuman)! We saw him after the concert too. He was lucky enough to get into the after party but I'll let him tell you that story.
So pretty much, the Bridgeport concert was a success.

My day started off at 11am when I had to leave my house to drive to the ferry. My friend and two sons went with me. We took the 12pm ferry over to Bridgeport, CT. We were able to catch a shuttle van over to the arena and arrived probably 1:30 ish. At that time, they were a few other Idol fans there already. We all were waiting behind the metal bar fences where the buses would eventually park. I met a few of the members from KMF while waiting outside, that was very nice. I got to meet Diane, Michelle, Amanda, I'm sorry I forgot the name of the girl with Amanda, and then I met Miuman (only know his screenname). I enjoyed meeting all of you, we definitely had a fun time hanging out waiting and hoping for Kat to make an appearance. BTW - Amanda ,since I never saw you again after the Meet and Greet, I just want to let you know that I gave Kat the envelope that you had given to me for her, and she said "tell her thanks". We all of a sudden notice the buses driving to the arena and all start screaming. Kat got off the bus, with her red hooded sweatshirt, hood pulled over her head. I also saw Kellie, Mandisa, Paris, Taylor, Chris, Ace (so cute!!) and Bucky get off as well. We all start screaming their names hoping they would come over to us. Ace eventually walks over and talks to us through the fence, and says he'll see what he can do about coming out to meet us. He finally did come out but he was infront of the arena so we had to leave the spot we were in to go run a meet Ace. He took pictures with every fan and signed autos. for everyone as well. My nephew was supposed to come with me for his birthday but he never could. So, since it was his 9th birthday yesterday and he was a huge fan of Ace's, I asked Ace if he could say Happy Birthday to my nephew. I had my nephew on the phone, and I held it up to Ace and he said Happy birthday to him, very sweet. After meeting Ace, I went back over to the buses area, and Bucky comes out with his luggage. My friends younger son who is 9 yells out to Bucky "Bucky do you need help carrying your luggage?, Bucky smiles and says no thats ok. After bringing it inside he comes out to the buses again and my friends son yells Out "did you get your luggage in ok", he didn't yell loud enought cause Bucky kept saying "what, i'm sorry I can't hear you and eventually had to come over to the fence to hear. ANd he said whats' your name? Brendan, thanks for asking to help me. SO, only Ace and Bucky were the only two to come over or out to talk to us.
Now time for the Meet and Greet!!!!
First I was told by the security, my name wasn't on the list and i couldn't get in. I almost died, eventually it was all straigtened out and my name was on the radio contest winners list , AND GOT IN at the last minute. So, you can understand why I got so freaking nervous when I got inside to meet Kat. I'm pretty much the last person in the line to meet the Idols and as I'm getting closer and closer to the table I keep repeating the lines to myself of what I want to say to Kat. God, I wish I wasn't so nervous. It didn't help with the security hurrying you along either. I kept saying I hope Kat is here, because of her being sick and her missing a recent meet and greet. She was sitting at the far end of the table right before Taylor. I counted the heads , and when I counted 10 I was much more relieved knowing they all were there but especially Kat.( Im sure most of you know I had gone to another M &G back in July when Kat was out sick. So, really all I needed to see today was Kat. (Your only allowed to get one thing autographed by each Idol, but Kat was soooo sooo Kind and sweet that she autographed 3 different items for me. SHe is sooo sweet. I'm finally standing in front of her, and I tell her I'm sorry if I seem so nervous, she says "just relax yourself you'll be fine" . I first hand her the binder with all of the letters and let her know that it is from all of her fans over at KMF Site, she says AW
WW thank you and gives the binder a hug, it was cute to see. I then hand her a gift bag with something that I had bought for her, and she says "thank you ,you are sooo sweet. After she autographs my items, I ask her if I could give her a hug. she says "of course you can, come over here sweetie" and then she leans over the table towards me and gives me a big hug. I was dying at this moment. She does tell me that she has a cold and apologizes, and I told her don't be silly. At this moment, I guess I went over my 60 seconds with Kat cause the security guy says Ok , you really need to move along now, get your stuff please. Kat again says thanks for everything and nice meeting you.
It was a wonderful experience and I know I will always remember it,
During the concert, I was screaming soooo loudly thoroughout it but more so when Kat was performing her set , that when I woke up today I had no voice. I think she heard me cause she looked up into my section and waved (i was the only one in my section standing up and jumping up and down holding my signs for her and screaming of course. Actually, during the video that MichelleF posted, about 1:22 into it during BHATCT you can see on the right side my orange signs waving around -thats was me! Also, about 9:40 into the video during SWOTR, I am definitely sure that is my voice screaming "we love you Katharine" , I guess I was pretty loud screaming for Kat, considering today I have no voice.
I'm glad to share my experience with all of you, it was just awesome having the chance of meeting Kat in person- I will never forget it.
It was great meeting you, Michelle, Diane, Amanad and friend, and Miuman. I enjoyed talking to you all!
I was more than happy to deliver the letters to Kat from all of us.

Kat was amazing, i dont really remember BHACT b/c my camera died and i had a rage blackout!!! ugh that sucked, we brand 2 digital cameras and 3 disposable ones, those were used up and i now hate my new camera!!!!! 
oh well... onto THINK!!! ok so yeah, awesome!!! hehe kat came down and danced right infront of Diane, Michelle and another person which i didnt catch her name... 
oh my goodness these girls were so lucky!!!! ahh darn them... 
) hehe , my mom was right behind me so she said aww kat she really does love you!! and then kat turns to me and gives me the biggest smile ever!!!! ( ok yeah just reminding you all that all of my cameras are worthless at this point, so i have no pics of this 
- i have some on my cellphone of kat and me and chris and me and ace... and others, i dont know if you can put those on here though... ) so kat and i talk for a little bit more and then i feel bad so i move onto kellie... then i subconsiously take out my phone and take a pic of kellie, then im like ummm wait a sec!!! so i turn around and take as many i can of kat... so then im upset and i go back in line for kat b/c i wanna pic w/her on my phone... once i finally get back up there im like "im sorry your probably really sick of me by now but i 4got my phone took pics ( i felt like a dork) so she happily took the pic BUT when she had her arm around me, she kept rubbing my back!!!
